We don’t just talk about physical literacy, we coach it as well. With a ‘movement first’ philosophy we focus on building fundamental movement patterns to support our client’s goals in their active living and sport aspirations.
- Using a variety of modalities such as bodyweight exercises, kettlebells, free weights, and bands our aim is to strengthen, mobilize, and get you moving so you can be pain-free, strong, durable, and perform at the highest levels.
- We offer 1-on-1 and small-group training for children, youth, adults, and seniors.

Consulting
We offer in-person and virtual consulting services available for your physical literacy and active living initiatives. Whether you want to build a new program, enhance an existing one, incorporate assessments/measurability, or revamp your whole set of offerings we can support you all along the way. We work with:
- Individuals: In-person and virtual coaching services are available for children, youth, adults, and seniors.
- Business Leaders: Companies focused on using physical literacy and active living initiatives to support their employees, members, customers, and communities.
- Community groups working towards enhancing the health and well-being of community members. This includes stakeholders from the Education, Recreation, Sport, Health sectors, and Community Associations.
Workshops & Presentations
We offer a handful of workshops and presentations to support your goals:
- PL and Games workshops: This hands-on workshop is designed for front-line staff/program leaders to learn about physical literacy and how to incorporate it into programming. Attendees will learn how to use games to develop skills that translate into sport, recreation, and active living pursuits.
- To Move is to Live: Why does it matter if we move or not? This workshop takes a deep dive into the benefits of an active lifestyle and how we can bring healthy movement back into our lives. It shows attendees where our largely sedentary population is headed and provides tangible outcomes for how to get us back on course to an active, productive, and healthy society.
- Kids CanMove ™: Developed by GymnasticsBC, this hands-on workshop shows how 7 movement patterns can be used to develop physical literacy. Attendees will learn activities to build into their lesson plans right away. The workshop is for front-line program leaders working with elementary school-aged children.
- Let’s Roll: Learning the fundamentals of Brazilian JiuJitsu, Kickboxing, Wrestling, and Gymnastics this workshop works with attendees to develop their skills and confidence to teach basic movement patterns such as rolling, tumbling, falling, and moving in a variety of ways that build a martial arts foundation. We also discuss the holistic development of the child associated with martial arts teachings.
